SEEKING BEGINNER AND INTERMEDIATE POOL PLAYERS LOOKING TO DRAMATICALLY ADVANCE THEIR SKILLS
Practice is truly the only way to improve your pool game, but playing with the incorrect posture, stroke, and without fluid, level, body mechanics you will severely impede the upper limits of your playing ability. You can swing a cue-stick in any number of weird ways repetitively and eventually get good with that method, but you will never be able to achieve the stunning and jaw-dropping effects of incredible spin control, in a precise and directed manner, if you don’t have the correct foundations. The only way to build those foundations properly is by picking the right mentor. If you don't have access to someone with that knowledge and talent, then it might be time for you to consider paying for billiards lessons.
POOL INSTRUCTORS
Matt "the Doughboy" Kotin has been rolling people out on the pool table for 14 years now. He has an easy and adaptive teaching style and has been coaching league players for the last 5 years. If you are looking to incorporate jumps, side-spin, or masse-shots into your game, he’s the wizard you should talk to. However, one of his most valuable lessons will be teaching you to strategize your game based on the skill set that you already have.
Andrew “the Closer” Sisley is a silent bearded demon force on the pool table. He has been darkening the doorways of pool halls in Colorado for the last 8 years, but he started playing long before that. He is a professional manager and gives instruction with great ease and clarity. If you’ve been playing pool with the rule of “ball-in-hand” then you will definitely want him to show you some of his most devastating defensive moves.
Shelby "the Grave Digger" Kaminski is an extraordinary player in eight-ball and nine-ball pool. She will literally bring your pool game back to life, and teach you how to leave your opponents six-feet deep. Shelby recently helped her team clinch a regional championship and played for the nine-ball world title in Las Vegas. Among her many talents, she is great at helping players gain the confidence they need to succeed on the felt.
